Client Care
Care Guide
Honest materials age well when they are treated simply. Here is what each one asks of you.
Marble & Travertine
Seal annually with a penetrating stone sealer. Blot spills immediately rather than wiping. Use pH-neutral cleaner only — no vinegar, citrus or bleach.
Antique Brass
Dust with a dry cloth and allow the patina to develop. Polish only if you want to return the piece to a brighter tone; lacquered brass needs no polish.
Mirror Glass
Spray cleaner onto the cloth, never onto the glass, so nothing wicks behind the frame. Avoid ammonia on antiqued or foxed glass.
Ceramic & Resin
Wipe with a damp cloth. Keep unglazed ceramic away from standing water, and resin away from prolonged direct sun.
Bouclé, Wool & Cashmere
Vacuum on low suction, wash covers cool, and dry flat in shade. Pilling on bouclé is normal in the first weeks and can be lifted with a fabric comb.
